New moon in November

So this is the first year in the past few I didn't head to other island looking areas to fish the new moon in November. The fishing the past few was really bad.

So I'm curious to hear if anyone this time around fared better?

new moon

I have a feeling its bout done no matter where in new england. Any thing now is a shot in the dark. Not saying it is impossible but you really have to have an excelent combination of conditions and abundant luck to be in the rite place at the rite time. Unless your not going to miss one tide at a place that u know will produce.

There was fish to be had, I didnt lock into a good one, but I saw some landed by buddies. Eels were absolutely key. There are still some large in a couple of my spots, but the have been quite elusive. You hear about guys who hook into these "un-controlable fish" while schoolie fishing.
