Fishing Boston Harbor - outside Sat.

Fishing the Boston harbor tom.

Going to chase some blues and stripers first....then if they are around...going to give the Tuna a shot.

If anyone else is fishing the Boston Harbor, I will be monitoring Ch. 69. If I find some school action I will let you know...Just let me know what name I should hale.

Going to troll with my cod setup...thinking of trolling tony aceta spoons and crippled herrings. Does anyone know how fast I should troll for tuna?

I will try to cast to these bad boys but I don't think 20lb test will work.....it will either spool me or snap the line in less than 20 secs.

Give me a shout on the radio tom. if you find anything.
Thanks,
Gus

Hey Man,
Good luck...Most everybody I know is getting spooled with cod setups...Thry trolling Green Machines in the third wake.
Run the boat like 1000-1200 rpm; and hold on.
Lots of people using high capacity spinning reels loaded with 70-80# braid line. I used flourocarbon leader, and keep ypur swivels to a minimum.
I also have a secret weapon, the danny plug.
You'd be surpried how well it works.
Good Luck,
Rick
