Amcote over Flexcoat?

Does anyone have any experience coating over hardened Flexcoat with Aftcote? Will the Aftcote adhere to the Flexcoat. I ran out of Flexcoat on a first coat buttwrap. I want to start using Aftcote for the rods I have to wrap this winter.

typically, there are not any issues putting one manufacturer's finish over another. the key part is to use a scouring pad on the older finish or finish that's been siting untouched for longer and 36-48 hours. that will give new finish something to bite to. make sure it's clean after you clean it as well.
