ASSUMING we get there; Pats 31 - Green Bay 27 - we've never waltzed through a Superbowl - all have been grinds, all have been close, all have required liberal doses of Antacid chased my a mind numbing alcoholic beverage. This time will be no different - ASSUMING we get there. The Pats have made appointments with destiny because the other team was making appointments for the Superbowl instead of the team in front of them. Haven't we all learned not to be a Kordell?
My most assured prognostication? The Pats will be playing SOMEONE on the weekend of January 12, at Gillette
