can someone explain?

what wind direction is favorable on the beach in hull.i was there on friday and caught a bunch of schoolies and one keeper. fish were busting everywhere. went back this morning at 5 am and got nothing. i went for a drive along jerusilum rd. looking for some action but saw none. so i went back to the beach and landed a schoolie but nothing else. i was told the beach had been hot for some time but the winds drove the baitfish away. so my question is what winds are favorable in that area. thanks in advance
