Exclamation Fishing approach

What is yours preliminary fishing day(night) approach ?

I set up my equipment, food and drink()
heavy dress and go !
i try to arrive on spot early(in the light)for observe carefully the waves.
The first half hour is dedicated to do it.
I looking for tip or canal(more deep zone),and after do it,i'll choose my area based on the seastorm intensity.
Now i can unload the car...
I put the rods and i cast the first bait free.
By lead i "prospect" the bed, seeking soft bed.
There i suppose a good fish pasture, and i'll put my baits.
than ..i wait any signals...

I pass you the ball
Regards

I think, in surfcasting, the spot is always different !
Each seastorm changes the spot.
the secret is to interpret the sea in that circumstance.
The experience is fundamental to make a success...

In mediterranee surfcasting the main thing is seeking the fishing route.
that may be done understanding waves behavior.
From 1980 have been done many studies on it.
The waves excavates the bed...and it lift up micro organisms from it.
that's a good banquet for pinned friends.
Fishes come from far shoals in favor of current, toward shore.
Than go up parallel to shore undercurrent.
We must to understand this path, and to cast our baits on there.
It's not easy....

Two GREAT books I'd recommend:

Inshore Fly Fishing by Lou Tabory

The Art of Surfcasting with Lures by Zeno Hromin

Between these two, you'd have all the knowledge and understanding on how it's done here.
