On Saturday, March 8, The Coalition for Buzzards Bay will sponsor "Fish Buzzards Bay," an afternoon of fishing lectures.
The event will take place at Tabor Academy, Lyndon South Lecture Hall at 1 PM.
Directions to Lyndon South Lecture Hall, Tabor Academy, Marion MA:
From Route 195 (East or West):
Take Exit 20 onto Route 105 (Front Street) South into Marion.
At The Wave Restaurant (on your right) make a slight right turn onto Spring Street.
Continue across Route 6 and Lyndon Hall is approximately .5 miles on your left.
Speakers:
- Dave "Pops" Masch, biologist, teacher, chef, On The Water columnist, and author of Cooking the Catch, will tell "Anecdotes of Forty-Five Years of Fishing on Buzzards Bay."
- David Ross, PhD, WHOI oceanographer, Saltwater Fly Fishing columnist and author of The Fisherman's Ocean, will speak on "How to Find and Catch More Fish Using Science."
- Loren Kellogg, Staff Ecologist for the Coalition of Buzzards Bay, whose talk is entitled "Pogies, Eels, and Alewifes: What Every Predator Should Know."
Admission is free for Coalition members, $5 for non-members, $3 for seniors or student non-members.
