Question Should I call it a year????

I have had probably the best year of my life fishing this year! But now with the season coming to an end im wondering if I should call it a year I really dont want to but I havent heard or seen any decent fish recently in my area plus with the conditions the way they have been lately ive been really torn. Im just looking to see what others think that are in my area(Massachucetts north shore) I know the Cape to Long Island is really heating up but is my area coming to an end???? Please help me

I am on the same boat. I have had a banner year, with the last couple of weeks being the best. I think I will quit while I am ahead, and not let the year finish on a down note.

Lua

It's slowed (ie. they're not busting the top in huge numbers, smashing bait like the past MONTH) but there's still good fish out there. Castle Rock, go far right, cast towards Tom Moore's buoy. They're still around, just gotta work a little harder. And a trip to the south isn't out of the question for me this weekend.

I've also packed it. Time to bunker down and get the boat ready for the spring.

I wished I called it a year last week!! I have been trying to push the fishing season 2 more weeks Ikeep my 23 footer moored
in Ply/King area and had a brain fart not listening to weather forecast on todays storm.I have a 350 #Mushroom with 15' of 5/8
chain. This morning 8 oclock or so I finally listened to the weather
and ahh#^&#^&#^&#^&.I pulled my trailer down to the ramp hopeing to get a ride from the Harbor Master /or launch service dude ,but it looked like the perfect storm no ride available due to the conditions. An hour latter the harbor master called me at home
to inform me that my boat has broken free.I rush back dow n to the ramp with my trailer expecting to pick up what is left of
the vessel.

owner were out patroling and were able to grab my boat
before it smashed into the seawall.
The fellas were able to tie the boat up to an empty mooring
and secure it until the weather dies down.I owe these two
guys $$$$.
You can not fool mother nature she always wins.
Tommorrow out she comes!! I hope she survives the night.

I've had a kick a$$ year to....but my season ends in the woods. As we know when fall arrives the big'ins are moving in closer and deer season approachin, I always tell myself I'll find time to do both.(fishin at night) "Yeah Right" My first love will always be fishin but this is a magical time of year in the woods. Hunting has made me a better fisherman and vise-versa. When given the opportunity, my rods are ready and so am I.

I'm just catching my breath and taking it slow, getting ready for some cold weather bassin. Got lot's of fishing left to do yet this year, so I'm getting some painting and crap out of the way first.
