I might take a shot at the Block this Sunday if the weather and sea conditions permit. This time of year it's really tough, there is almost always a 4-6' sea and 20+ mph winds....Sunday's forecast is for 1-3' seas but that could change......

fished the ledge on saturday morning before the winds made it a little bumpy. fished from sunup to 8:30 or so and all that we could manage was a bunch of blues. was trolling live bunker. first time out there all year where this was the case. headed in to watch hill area where there were some bass to be had.

Thumbs up

17+lb bluefish yesterday off of Hazzard Rocks in Narragansett, The big blues were holding deep in 50-60' of water. These are the biggest blues I've gotten this season....

HEY, that's a real nice pic of BI, I only went there when I was about 6 in a the ferry, which I hardly remmember. I'd like to go again because I hear it is legendary for many kinds of fishing, including but certainly not limited to stripers, blues, and bluefins and sharks.
Does anyone have anymore pics of BI, whether fishing, lures that work well or the fish they caught at Block Island? PLEASE POST THEM!!!!!!!! Or email them to me at
StarsnStripers@hotmail.com
Thanx!!!!
