1/10th of New Mexico

is all that is required to grow enough algae to supply this whole country with fuel ....
and of course that could be spread amongst several states instead...

thats what the head scientist says.... when he was interviewed...
and of course this technology can spread "world wide" and it's totally
clean and renewable FOREVER ...

now you'd think that this would be discussed in Washington
by every Senator and Congressmen .... but so far it isn't

we fishermen have seen just how fast a pond gets taken over
by an algae bloom and suddenly turns green

well thats just how fast we can turn this energy crisis around

Yes, but think of the vast amounts of sunlight required to make this a reality.

Any who's there in Washington to lobby on behalf of the Sun!

Geez don't give the farm lobby any more ideas, next thing you know we'll be subsidizing the farmers even more money to grow algae instead of food and prices of food and fuel will still be up......

:o)

i still haven't heard what the ratio of bio mass or algae you need to
have to make your own fuel... since there's plenty of bio fuel makers available for ones cellar to make your own fuel oil...

i sure would love to have a sign on the back of my car or boat that says i'm running on fuel made from Algae... that would be grand!

my aunt's ex byfriend did some studies on this in the 80's back then they figured that it would cost 50 dolllars a gallon to produce a diesel fuel grade fuel from algae and figured it was a huge waste of time.. I wonder what has changed to make it cheaper to produce...?
