Sat AM Boston Harbor

Going out with a friend for the first trip of the season. What is my best bet for getting into some type of fish. I'd love to get a cod, flounder, ect.....
Being the first run of the year, we are not going out too far. Novice at the boat thing, both locations and techniques, so any help would be great. PM me if you are willing to share.
Thanks guys.

Well how did you do ?

I'm still a week or two away from the boat going in...

But I know the rivers are full of Herring...
So if you fish the rivers with small rubber or metal jigs you should get Stripers

For flounder try sea worms around the flats ....
use wide gap hooks you will get cod/flounder on the same rig.....

And my Favorite Bait the Mackerel should be had soon if not now just out side......

See yaa
Frank.
