Eel definetly, especially when you try to get them out of a "eelball". Eel slime is the worst! :-}

Hey, properly trained, groomed and handled, you can significantly reduce the amount of slime an eel will produce with readily available household items.

I got it figured to the point where you can just about hook 'em without a 3M pad, burlap, steel wool or vise grips.

Yeah, I mean LIVE, too, youse wise guys....

Hey regardless, slime or no slime, eels are your friends. I got 18 in the patio livewell right now that are dyin' to take a ride across the Big Bridge.

Geez, Tattoo, I thought you didn't look too good last nite - my guess is you might be in for one of them 24 hour tumors around Thursday .

As for them chowderfish, I dunno - that's the Mystic Seer's department. I was frightened by a green crab as a kid and I never got over it.

Eel slime over tog slime hands down.Cudas got tog beat for slime anyday,smells funky too.Positevely drips off them when you get'em in.That's why they call them the ****birds of the ocean.But no contest on the eels.That's in a class by itself.A big old houndfish is just about as slippery as an eel but not quite and they try to bite you too.Watch out if you gotta unhook one they got nasty teeth.

I'll go with eels too. And the slime is a b&*tch to get off. I always end up with some the crap on my hands no matter how hard I try.

A few years ago, we where out toggin by the lighthouse at point Judith. Caught a bunch of togs then hooked into about a four foot eel. hands down the eel won the slime fest.
