Mackeral

Were are the Mackeral?

Just cleaned out the Smoker and am Ready to catch some Tasty Makeral. Anyone seen any yet?

Damn, that is some tasty stuff. One of my favorites smoked. I am never ready when they pass by me (only for a few days each spring). But I love those smoked. If you even "like" smoked bluefish a little, you would L O V E smoked mac's.


The only place I have seen them "from the shore" is at BI. I've caught them in the harbor all summer. (That was years ago) and in got them again in the fall "under the bridge" on a fly rod.
They have tinkers in the harbors here but not the big boston's.
