Boat reports for South County???
Okay I know the shore guys have been doing really well from Green Hill to Napatree, but I was wondering if anyone has been fishing the area by boat. It looks like it's going to blow again this weekend so BI will be out, and although the bay is loaded with big bluefish I want some bass.....!!! Anyone been around Charlestown, Quonny, or Watch Hill Reefs?

Don, I saw some boat action of Weekapaug Point this afternoon. A bunch of boats into gulls and fish(even a charter boat trolling in the mix). Flat calm out there too.

We're planning on heading there tomorrow. The team has lost a few members, must have been the occasional 8-10 that came over the top last Saturday! We managed a 33.5 at Montauk on Sunday as the seas layed down a bit. I saw the forecast and I think I'd rather work all weekend but........ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Thanks, we definately need the luck, lots of 40's being weighed in the last couple of tourneys.

myself and trayder won't be making it to sayville. the weather looks like junk and last weekend took the wind out of our competitive sails. we got beat up pretty good last weekend and the fish gods weren't on are side. originally were going to run from mystic to sayville for weigh in but weather is not cooperating. good luck those jersey boys are making a run for your top spot. see you at the stars and stripers event in the spring.

Devils & Scotch,
Thanks for the report. I fished last evening at FPR from the beach and got nadda, the ocean was calm and fish were busting out about 200-300 yards, dam should have taken the boat.
Tomorrow looks like a wash for boating winds and rain (again), but Sunday might be a possiblity....I'll give you guys a shout on 69. If weather is good I might make the run from PJ to Watch Hill, haven't been there all season...
Don
