IMHO I think it's still a lil early for night fishing in da Ditch.

Live bait sharp hooks and timing is all you need

One of the guerilla jiggers hit an unstoppable in the all-dark hours. Ripped the tail hook off a 9" Tsunami shad after taking about 30-40 yards off a very tight drag, on a reel mounted on a 1209.

Not JP. But one of the regulars we fish with.

Some people know while others THINK they know.
The folks who know laughed last season at the anglers complaining about the lack of quality fish in the ditch.
The results speak for themself.

Buzzards Bay has been loaded with fish for at least two weeks that I know since I've fished that area in my boat. They're getting bigger every day and must be working their way thru the canal at this point.

Like always fishing the canal, right place, right tide.

OK, have it your way. There are no quality fish in the Canal. I'm sure everyone will post here when they do arrive, so just sit tight, or wait for someone to give you a call.

Their in there for those throwing shads. Us chunk throwers have to wait awhile they won't bite anything that's not herring right now. Hopin the mackerel move in soon in big numbers.

Shads weren't necessarily the only way to go yesterday. Not where we were.
