I am still getting them in Maine.

Its almost november and upon going up to maine every weekend for the past month to visit my grandma, I have been fishing everynight outside her house where there is a nice hole visible at low tide. I have been getting nice stripers and a few blues along with a few small pollock. This fall around the middle of september I was up there fr 5 days and everyday there was good blitzes of blues about not even 10 yards of the beach. I went out one morning around 5 and there was blues in the last sud hitting peanut bunker. I landed about 15 to 20 blues from 23 inches to 37 inches. But back to the stripers, the one I take evry night for breakfast the next morning they all had pollock in their stomachs. So I went to the jetty and caught a few small pollock then live lined the ones that night that were still alive and they yeilded nothing around 9 30 I swithced to a kastmaser(with my live lining rod still out there) and I caught 4bass 10 casts(19",23",32"and 17") and just about 7 more bass and 2 blues after that. I am amazed that the bass are still up there.
