Any bass left in Boston Harbor?

Has anyone recently fished the Boston Harbor for bass? Are there only schoolies left? Are there any razor lips around the harbor at this time of year? I'm going to give it a try on Monday....if no action I'm going to head out to the B bouy and try to catch cod (another first for me). If I go for cod I will use a diamond jig or a clams with two tube teasers....I am always open to suggestions, does anyone know of a better set up? I read in a fishing report last week that the cod have moved into shallower waters and mentioned the b bouy area. What sites do you guys go to for fishing reports? I go to OnTheWater and NorEast Saltwater.

P.S. Thanks to all that responded to my first post and thanks for the suggestions! Maybe someday I could go fishing with some of ya!!!

There should still be some bass in the Harbor. I wouldn't say many or big but still some. You'd be better off the Cape or Rhody. When the bass move out the cod generally move in but over this summer, you did not have to go far for cod... As far the reports? I'd like to put reports up here more often but it dpends on what reports come in to here...

We just had a quick get-together of people last weekend and I'd like to do some more regularly but we'll probably run into you at some point... Where are you from??

Later,

John

I used to live in Ashland. I loved the town, but I hated being so far from the ocean. While I lived there I did a lot of fresh water fishing and was surprised and disappointed at the amount of murcury pollution in the area. Anyway, good luck fishing.
