Thumbs up THE FLATS!!

Well the marathon is over for a few days, lots of time on the flats catching and watching hundreds of bass from micro to 40lbs cruising and mini blitzing.. Got another 20lber yesterday am on a snake and Mr. Striper again put me onto the fish with his savy and expertise of our local waters and striped bass patterns.

Fun isn't it

I see he was taking the day off from fishing today, his boat was still at the dock. I tried to get out to the flats but that weather forcast for less than 1 foot looked more like 3 footers from my 11' skiff so I had to stay inside, but managed a few fish anyway.

Like these? 5:30AM in Five footers in a 14 foot skiff with acres of bass and no other boats outside the harbor with me. Fell twice and almost went over but it was my fault not paying attention to the rollers coming at me but whp pays attention when there are fish to catch? Nothing bigger than 15 pounds today, but it was still a ball.

Thank God for Advil.
