Vintage rod

A friend gave me a light tan - colored 11 foot spinner. With the inscription ,customs by Murat. Does anyone have any info about this rod maker. It appears to be quite old, very flexible, actually willowy. But still functional.

Probably an old 1162 or 1163 Lamiglas blank. Could have been built by either Charlie Murat himself, or by Dave Hammock after Charlie passed away.

Dave was Charlie's son-in-law.

Murat was among the best in the business back in the day.
