Capstans

Well, the time is here to add some mechanical assistance to the r/v so I dont have to pull sediment samples by hand.

Anyone have any experience with either of these?

Endurance Marine:

Quick catch pot hauler:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...7&classNum=199

It would be for pulling less than 100lbs in usually less than 100ft of water.

Thanks
Bryan

Look into Simpson/Lawrence products, they have a good reputation.

I have a S/L anchor windlass (with the toothed gypsy though).

I can give you some wiring tips if you need. I learned the hard way.
