Just wondering if anyone had some info on the island. I might be doing some fishing there soon and was wondering about bass spots or bonito spots. How far would I have to go for Mahi?

Mahi?...pretty far generally. Sometimes they get within 10-20 miles of the island but generally for the big ones you need to really go offshore aways and look for water temps near 80.
You can catch a bass anyplace around the island, really!. Try gay head, look for all the boats.
Bonito...hedge fence, middle ground, the hooter.

look at your 2007 calendar...http://fishinglogcalendars.com/2009reva_020.htm
