abu 6601ab repair

I seem to have stripped the post for my handle in the AB. Anybody repair these beauties?
I really just need parts, I don't think anyone really re-threads things anymore.

You can buy the stem post. It's a simple easy fix. They sell that part online from any Abu parts seller. Mike's reel repair is a good one for parts.

Be encouraging, not discouraging

I'll check it out. The brass is way to soft.

The AB was a problem reel. I have a few of them for parts (NEW)that ABU did not want back.
If you can make it down here to the shop I'll give you the part (Drive Shaft)

The Anti Backlash Pop up would break right away. There was a small plastic pin holding or locking down the thumb bar which controlled the backlash.

Ok, did the fix the design in the AB or did they ignore fixing it?
