canal this morning
hey guy i was at the canal this morning and saw the strangest thing pods and when i say pods i mean pods of pogy but no fish not even blues pounding them just wonder if anyone else seen this or if anyone had any luck this morning?

Seeing a bunch of that the past few days RI area.It's over...clean your gear.... the season is over.Fall run isn't gonna be a good one due to that last bunch of hurricane and tropcial storms.Fish are already south into NY.Hopefully there's a few more pushes.

That is crazy talk pack it in hell my gear stays out all year long i get stripers in jan, feb all you need to know is where to go
and as i said before i dont hear the fat lady yet

I was at the canal all weekend there were big fish everywhere just not on my line.  Just look at the pics in all the different bait shops.

I saw the pods yesterday... the only time I didnt see fish crashing them was the 20 mins during slack...
Then it was ON again...

Yup - it was down here anchored up outside Goat Island in Newport a few days ago - pretty neat all lit up at night.
