Rust Never Sleeps!

I usually put a coat of Butcher Wax on my lathe bed, bandsaw table and drill press table as it is in my unheated shop and I used it the other day....but I forgot to recoat it and with the moist air, the surfaces got a coat of surface rust!! Any recommendations on cleaming the surface back to new??

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

bigfish, I fight this battle with my glass tools on a daily basis- as stated brillo pad, but what I do is use a little soft scrub with abrasive and a brillo.. get all the rust off, clean with windex, then use a coating of 3 in one oil.. it works great.

A little naval jelly (mild acid) will work wonders as well..

Oh.. I also use a wire wheel on an angle grinder when I am in a hurry...
