Spinning A Few Joints!

Trying some new types of joints on a few plugs outside of the traditional "cut in half" type of joint! This is a "Prey" swimmer I am working on! Looks cool.....can't wait to swim it!

Love the originality in that! I was thinking of prototyping something along those lines.

Not that its original as I have seen similar.....but I have not done any like this! I am hoping the water pushing into the joint as it swims adds to the action??

I think it will have a nice sexy wiggle. I've seen poppers like that (I think they are called Knucklhead poppers) but not metal lips.

happy to see them BF

i would think the water in the joint would cushion the wiggle a little bit since its denser than air is....

but yeah...it'll make it a little tighter ie awesome

would be cool to have a filmography of it in a tank that had
artificial current like those custom swimming pools do.

Looks awesome Larry. It also seems that cutting them that way makes thru wiring possible. When cut in the other direction the wrap has to be at the nose, which doesn't look as nice. Can't wait to hear how it swims!

like it . I have something with a similar joint from Rockfish, Joe. Looks neat and I don't think you will get that exaggerated wiggle that I don't really like with a lot of jointed plugs, toned down a bit maybe.

Looks nice, try reversing the cut, the "y' in front for streamlining.
