parking today at the SWE

In the event today's show overwhelms the SWE parking lot (there's a good chance of that happening) the Newport County Chamber of Commerce lot can be used for any overflow.

You'll see the entrance to that lot just before the entrance to the SWE lot.

Thanks,

The staff at Saltwater Edge hosted a very good gathering today. I met alot nice people there.
The plug deals could have been better, may be next time.

Thundersticks for about $10, Left Hook pencils the size of a baseball bat $25, and 2oz Habs (Jr) needles for $25 (i think) - not bad I say for hard to find stuff

Had a very nice time.As stated above, lots of amiable folks. It seemed everyone had one or more Left Hook Pencils in their hands. And off course Hab's Jr got pounced on, his Eel colored-needles flew out the door like a 'bat out of Hell ".

I got mine!...

Hey, Mike, they don't call me crafty for nothin -

As soon as I spotted the eels being laid out I quietly slid over to that side of the table and once Jess opened the cash box I pounced on 'em first...

I knew they were gonna fly - the black and the blurple evaporated pretty quick too -

Johnny did an EXCELLENT job on this batch - of course, a lot of credit is also due for the prep work, the real secret of the pros -

Well, that's what Pt Jude Joe told me, anyway...

And part of it is in who's tying the tails, too - hey Joe, give the kid some credit, will ya...otherwise he's gonna tell Ma...

Great job, Johnny - and a big thumbs up to the Habs crew -

It was also good to see a lot of the Usual Suspects, too in the middle of what's starting to seem like a pretty long #*&$# winter -

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

It was not by any stretch advertised to be a sale, it was a free event for our customers. We are planning to have a "Get ready for spring sale" the weekend prior to RISAA where we'll have sales on a wide variety essentials everyone uses throughout the season; Super Strike, terminal tackle, Andrus, and more if you're looking for a more product and sale oriented event.

Thank you to all who came and thank you for your business throughout the year. It's what allows us to have staff put in extra time on free events such as this as well as create the how-to videos and anything else along those lines. It also enables us to keep the doors open throughout the winter for events such as these.

Thanks to DZ for a great presentation and remember Zeno is this Saturday on February 7th at 1PM. It's once again a free event.

Crafty you must have been right next to me. I was the kid on a mission to get a eel colored needle. I spotted them being put out and got my 3 eel colored needles right away and my friend grabbed the last one. And i was also lucky enough to grab a blurple needle which went next after the eel. Thanks John Jr! These are my first Habs and they lived up to everything i thought they would be. I thought Pete, and the SWE crew did a great job and i look foward to attending Zeno's this saturday.
