Unbelieveable shark airial display on Yahoo
I don't know how to link it here but if you go to Yahoo they have a video clip of a shark doing some acrobatics. Its way cool. Hope people can find it. It was on the front page just now.

That link works , thanks. After the commercial you see the shark video. That shark must have won the lottery or something.

That shark was one of thousands of Spinners that spend the winter off of our beaches here in Palm Beach/Martin county. It isn't actually feeding however. They Spawn here in the winter and that is part of their normal behavior.
The best part of the story is left out. The fact is you can catch as many of them as you want from 60-150 pounds from now until about April and they readily eat bait, plugs, and even a fly! They also jump like that while you're fighting them.
If anyone is planning a trip down this way and you want the 411 on how to catch them from the surf or boat, give me a call and I'll fill you in on the details.

Catching fish like that in the surf sounds like a great way to field test new reels/rods and have fun too :-). Too many species, too little time. :-(
