poppers

Here's a few poppers, I think these were the first things I turned this year.... These are all 5 1/2 and and right around 2.5 oz. The polaris's sink and the others barely float.

These are experiments, they have a little more lead in them and a little sharper angle to the heads for longer distance and fishing in fast current. On the yellow polaris I drilled the hole for the thru weight an extra 1/2 an inch deep and the tail weight slides around and makes a racket, kindof a built in rattle although who knows maybe it will scare them....

I have a terrible time turning a polaris, but I really like the shape of that green mack one...
