Your rights are already gone - there's nothing more to take and thus nothing more to worry about.
Do journalists have to get fingerprinted to write articles that are protected by the First Ammendment?
The Second Ammendment is the SHTF clause in the BOR. It's only there in case all else fails, so the people have the means to overthrow the government - something that is specifically mentioned in the Declaration of Independence.

Not making this political, I'll only say that "someone" has said we need a new Declaration of Independence. Wonder why?
