I have had fishing on the brain like every day...4x times a day. For example, I hate plowing snow. When I plow snow...I think about fishing. Ya! This year has been rough! NO MORE SNOW PLEASE!! I am going to have to start fresh water fishing...just to keep my sanity

By St patricks Day people will have caught fresh run fish in more than one place in RI. A week later , by the 24th people will already be com-plaining about the crowds. The fish are very reliable.

The recent decent weather is getting us all a little antsy i think. That and the recent shows (PI and MSBA for me). Everytime I pull into my garage and see all the rods and the kayaks, I contemplate parking outside like I do all summer so my side of the garage can be fishing HQ. Thanks to Salty, I've been working on plug kits and hope to get more. Hope to see some of you out on the shore, except it will be dark and not all of us like to chit-chat when wetting a line.

I have the viral form of striper fever, it never goes away and on occasion leaves me incapacitated*.
*unable to perform tasks unless they're fishing related.

I get daily reminders from Rick Bomba letting me know exactly how many days we have to wait until we can start fishing again. I also found myself looking for birds on the way into work one day

I wonder when that fishing prodigy will start up. I may follow your lead this year. Not sure if I'll be able to hit the salt after work this year and I think that will have to be the remedy.
Saw a few people fishing off the Groveland bridge last weekend. Won't be long now.

Increased posting on this site....
Is also an unfortunate sign that many are home, and not at work... I note those who I know are in the trades posting more during the daytime. It sucks.
At least I have a job starting this week, repainting kitchen cabinets. 44 pieces (doors and drawer faces, the crown and cabinet end pieces.) The prep is the worst, as I'm going to be spraying a mirror gloss finish. Very unforgiving...
