The Crocuses are in bloom along the old stone walls on Rt 6a in Barnstable. Violet and white spreading across the front of the walls.

Redwing Blackbirds are at my feeders and this morning I saw several silvery fish at a ladder on my way to work. They were scouting the run.

On Saturday I managed a couple small trout though they had not stocked yet (those trucks are supposedly rolling today).

Then I walked an outer cape beach and actually found a pencil popper on the surf line. (One of those cheap Tsunami plastic jobs)

It's all down hill from here.

Why even try.........

I saw an osprey yesterday hanging around the mashpee herring run. We are getting there.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Some of the forsythia are getting that yellow "tinge." Signs of spring...gotta love it!

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
