Hey, I seen that Ad; he is the same Capt. Al who does the I.G.F.A. Colum in the RISAA newsletter, right? the many acticales i read from him, he knows his stuff!

i notice you posting about tuna more often; have you Always fished for tuna or getting in/ back into it??? what is your biggest Tuna, if so?

If you really want to get tuna tips, take a 2 or more day charter, yes it's expensive but i bet you learn so much in that short time. I also plan to fish (stripers/blues) off some charter boats this summer.....if the summer job works out for me i will take a tuna trip

Good luck, hope ya catch that chuck tuna yer going after.

Hallo mrmacey,
I'm getting my boat ready for large specimens this late summer and fall off of Rockport. Last year they were about three miles off Halibut Point.
I'm trying to talk my brother into getting an 80 # class rod and reel.
Right now, I've got a custom glass 80# rod with an Okuma Titus 50W, if you can pick up an outfit in that class, and my bro can get one, then we'll have three.
Talk to me about it on the 15th, my brother will be there too, so hopefully we can talk him into it.
It's lotsa fun.
Later,
Rick
