Rediculous!
Dog has had breathing issues lately. $100 + for shots and yearly check up, $50 for office visit for breathing issues .Had his teeth cleaned and xrays of chest throat and sinus to look for the cause of breathing problem $850. Clean teeth but couldnt find cause. Needs to see specialist , possible ct scan. Last week he wakes up limping, wont put any weight on front paw, broken, sprained?? Took to vet , more x-rays to check for fracture, no fracture , possibly sprain or lyme disease. Got antibiotics and pain pills $380. Wakes up next morning fine , was lyme. Took him to the specialist today $120 for visit, wants to do a rhinoscopy , look in throat ..etc , etc .. possible ct scan , keep over night....$12-1600!!!
Then who knows how much $$$ if they find something. He said 90% of the time they can diagnose the problem with these tests....
