4-1/2 oz Point Jude
That new 4-1/2 oz Pt. Jude in chrome color was very very good to me. Casts very well and far. If that tin doesn't imitate a baitfish, I don't know what would. I pulled it out of the package and cast it out and bang, just like that I'm tight to a 40 pounder. Landed and released, a couple guys got a pic or 2 so hopefully winchmaster or Old Man can help me out with a picture of the beast. We knew it was up around 40 as it instantly bottomed out a 30 lb boga. Victor put it at 42 pounds and that sounds about right as I have caught a 42 pounder before.
It was well worth the loss of sleep, and even more than worth the $8.95 the tin retails for. I can't say enough about it, Thanks Joe I looked at Tom's Bait the other day and he didn't have any, I hope more shops pick up more of your stuff, you know I'm a fan.
After I got that beauty, Victor put the same tin on but in gold
The fish are biting, no time to waste............

Joe,
I can't wait til I fish the Ditch with enough current to let that baby fly. Thanks for the tin, I'll keep ya posted on how it performs.

I used the 4 1/2 oz Hammer' n Groove today and got a nice one. ( not a 40 though!) This lure casts a mile and swims very nicely.

Congratulations to both the angler and the lure builder. Both Slip and Pt. Jude Joe are great contributors to this site.

Congrats B. ,as I have already told you.
I ran into Joe today for the second morning in a row. He was kind enough to give me a few of his creations. He actually was showing me one and told me to see what it looked like on his rod. First cast I took I am trying to see the metals action and a bluefish took the thing. Better add a few of these things to your arsenal they are perfect for the canal, and many other places too. Thanks again Mr. Townsend

Hey Paul, if it wasn't for the bluefish mixed in with the bass, Pt Jude sales would plummet...
Actually - and this isn't a paid endorsement... ...I've had Pt Judes pull keeper bass out of a school of blues during a blitz... ...and Habs used to use 'em himself... at night at a certain SoCo spot
Mr Townsend...
