Checked by EPO

on Sunday am. He was asking questions like am I a rec or Commercial stripeer, what size is my gillnet... So I amswer him, and tell him my net is 40' x 5' (200 sq) he then says good you ae under the rec limit of 250 sq. I thought the reg says 200 or under ?? Anyway nice enough guy, and the girl checked out my reg. I was on my way after a few minutes.

Be forewarned ....those who don't have their permits and whose net doesn't meet the new reg's...EPO's have been checking the "pogie" spots on a regular basis and issuing violations to offenders!

Yea I was there too, watching them check everyone else....

Tough times means they need $$$$, best way to raise it is to write sitations.

But they are doing their job, so our tax dollars are for something. They just need to catch those guys striper fishing on the bank....and the others everywhere taking shorts....and so on and so on.....

Glad you were legal...

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
