Boat for sale...
Time to sell the old girl...$2,000 or best offer.
Midland 19 (c. 1979) - Great hull, high bow and spray rail, dry ride.
Johnson 70 (c. 1981) - Runs fine. Additional parts engine included.
Single-axle Trailer (good bones - bad joints, needs one new hub and two new suspension springs. Replaced one hub last year.)
The big problem is that it's all on Cuttyhunk and it's not easy to get out there this time of year, especially with the harbor frozen...
I've got a couple of people on the island interested but thought I'd first throw it out to the S-B.com crowd to see if there's any interest. Not in a great hurry. Would like to get something done by early April.
Reason for selling: Looking to buy new. Got my eye on the Nitro 1900

Cuttyhunter - post it on http://OSO.com for 4K and whatever they give you over the 2K you're asking, we'll split ....
Clammer keeps saying that the Midlands are very sought after in RI - might be worth a shot. Nitro - one of those little bass boats???

nitro 1900
The package (boat, 4-stroke 75, and trailer) is a good deal. Good inshore boat for fly-fishing or spinning that is easily trailable and low maintanence. 5-year warranty on the motor.

Never seen one of those - just the FW bass tour types. How about an old 20 Seacraft and a new Suzi 140 ??
I just checked that link I gave you and it seems like OSO is now officially sucked up into COX (RI's cable company). I haven't found any listings for local classifieds... Don't know what happened to it??

That looks sweet, I'm going to have to look at that hull when I'm out at the Marine USA show in March. Although I like my ride, the center console would be drier, just never liked the looks of the Lund center console alaskan. Is that Tracker an all welded hull? I wonder how the ride compares to mine. I'm running more of a great lakes boat in the 1890 ProV and it really handles the heavier stuff nice, not dry but safely. I'll have to talk to my ex freshwater bass federation partner who set me up in that show, see if any deals can be had.

GS.
When's the Marine USA show? They are the dealer (as you may already know) for Nitro boats. I've been speaking to the Worcester store. The hull is molded fiberglass with two design options, a "tunnel" or deeper V and the standard shallow V. I've yet to see the boat in person but I like what I've seen on-line and heard. Let me know if you hear more commentary. There is a live well under the seat in the front of the console. Six week turnaround.
A guy on another board was talking about the 1800 that he is getting with a 50hp 2-cycle and trailer for $13,500. That's cheap...he got me going on this one.

The Boat is Sold
Thanks for all your interest. If there are any problems with the deal I'll be sure to contact those of you that expressed interest. You'll probably see it around Pt. Judith this summer.
