VMC hook change?

Did VMC change the shank length of the 9626ps 4X? I just got some more 1/0's and noticed right away without even getting them out of the pack they were longer. No change in the 2/0 and 3/0 I got . These are not going to work for what I need them for. The shank length is one of the main reasons I like these hooks. Any one else notice this. Both packs of hooks were marked the same. The ones in the box are older ones I had.

looks to me that the shorter hooks are the stronger 6X or the stinger style ones. I just got in a mix of
vmc hooks from 1/0 to 4/0 in both 4x and 6x. I had 100 stinger style short shank for some tuna plugs that I made and they're shorter than the others. Might be what you have there. Ron
