Seas looked pretty darn nice this morning here in Truro - on the inside, didn't see the outer beaches today.

They all can be wrong, but for Stellwagen I use the hourly function for Provincetown on weather.com
and
http://stellwagen.noaa.gov/visit/weatherandsea.html .... choose 'Marine Forecast' then find 'Stellwagen'.
but mostly I look at the top of the pine trees out back.

I think the 17' bowrider on the bank today was in worse shape than any of us.
One of these clowns is going to get hurt.

agreed. On wednesday we passed a maybe 18' dc in 3 - 5's. Every other wave we would loose sight of them. I know the tuna thing is really addictive but come on.

Went down to check on my boat this evening. Had to leave beacuse it was making me sick to watch her standing almost strait up and then nose diving down into the rollers. Yeah I would say NOAH was wrong again.

This frustrates me. There is no online location to find swell conditions.
I am sitting here on the fence, go or not. SCA for swells Newport, nada in Buzzards Bay. WTF?

Did you check the "NOAA" bouy data for your area.
I do it all the time where I am.
Bouys around buzzards bay.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

The south coast is a desert for real-time buoy information on waves/swells.

BUZM3 – Wave data failed 8/17/06. Dew point temperature data failed 10/7/08. Air temperature data failed 5/29/09.
