Stripers with Attitude - What's your story?

Every now and again you run into a striper with attitude; you know the ones I'm talking about.

Perhaps she's the kind that fights like she's on steroids, making run after run and when you finally land your 'record' fish she turns out to be a third the size you expected. Maybe she's the dark shadowy figure you see near the bridge's shadow line that bolts out of her hiding place to suck down passing menhaden, but she rejects every lure you throw at her. She could be one of those explosive fish that smashes your lure so hard it almost lands back at your feet, but she avoids every one of your well sharpened hooks. These are some examples of bass with attitude.

Let's hear a few stories about some of the most memorable bass you've tangled with, not necessarily the largest.

Here's an illustration of a bass with attitude.

Fishing off the bridge in Duxbury at night and having the bass tail-slap your offerings high into the air (like a volleyball serve) or flip over your head so instead of your line being retrieved from the right, it's now on the left.
