Block Island Last Week

I pulled together a surf fishing fling with some hardcore anglers from RI, NY and NJ. Crazy Al was there with some Long Island sharpies that had never fished Block Island before. We stayed at Capt. Dave Chieffo's Island Home Inn as a base of operations and for five days and four nights up to 12 accomplished anglers fished just about every honey hole on the island. Although lots of fish were taken, no cows were landed. We experienced every form of weather short of snow and hail. I'm not convinced the real migration is even underway yet. This could be a very late season if only the weather will cooperate.

I'll be posting several pictures on this thread or you can visit my facebook page for a whole lot more images.

Here is a panoramic of the back side of the island.
