A lot of people are second guessing their vote now because they
based it on emotion.
There were so many signs that Obama was using the old, if you can't convince them with facts, dazzle them with
Few if any good decisions are made based on emotion, because it
clouds reality.
A lot of people dazzled by BS and wishful thinking.

A 76y/o that believed, unquestionably, what she heard? Shocking.
I know exactly what I'm opening the door for but... There is a reason why the elderly are some of the number 1 targets of scamsters. (Cue calls of calling Obama a scammer, and man of only rhetoric.)
People that don't critically consider each candidate should not vote. People that voted for Obama because he made them feel good and "liked what he said" are idiots. Just as there should be a test before people can have kids, there definitely should be a test before people can vote.

From what i saw, many of his followers that worked on his campaign,
that would be a very high percent, including the young, who swooned,
fainted and looked at him with wist full eyes at his rallies.
Add that to those looking for a hand out, he was a shoo in.
Fortunately or unfortunately the older people lived in a generation when
a man's word was as good as his bond and people could be trusted.
Unless they learned some wisdom along the way and saw the changes,
they tend to get burnt.

Ya, and that can get you elected, but in reality that and a $1 gets the people a cup of coffee.

So.......... they should have voted for him for his accomplishments? His years of foreign experience? His extensive leadership experience? His financial background?
Looks like the majority of the people that voted for him would fall into that category Johnny. Then there is the large percentage that voted for him based on the color of his skin.

They should have voted for him because they align with his stance on Foreign Affairs, Education, Abortion, Marijuana, Same Sex Issues, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Stem Cell Research and Capital Punishment more so than they align with McCain.
You already know my opinion about the majority of people that vote - uninformed, politically ignorant people should not be voting. If someone cannot take the time to determine what issues they are campaigning on and look at a person's voting history, then that person should not vote. Most people that vote, probably shouldn't.
It would take under 2 hours over the course of a week to do research on the candidates and choose one whose views are most in line with yours.

Since you're so well informed, how exactly would you define a "Radical Marxist".
Do me a favor though. Use your own words, not some copy/paste.

I don't claim to be smarter than anyone else, I don't want to take away the vote of others because they are "ignorant and uninformed", the fact is that you, despite however many claimed hours of extensive research each week leading up to the election, voted exactly the same way as many of the crack smoking, Hope and Change chanting, Obama money desiring, out of wedlock breeding individuals that you loathe...your vote counted exactly the same as their's regardless of how much more informed you claim your's to be....an Old Cherokee Chief used to say " man who spend all of his time decrying the ignorance of others is he himself displaying an ample amount"
providing a definition for you would be a pointless exercise given your proclivities, it's my opinion based on what I am watching unfold and what I know about his past, his policies and his acquaintences....
which are you unclear on....marxist? or radical?
would you like to argue that his policies and leanings are neither?
you should go to You Tube and watch Rev. Wright's Sept 17th speech, he can help clear up the marxism/black liberation theology thing for you...Obama's mentor..... right?
the fact is that you bought the airbrushed, media massaged, edited and promoted version of Obama and it's becoming more and more clear that this guy is not at all what so many believed they were voting for on many different levels, you would have had to completely ignore the disturbing acquintences and affiliations that he's had through his life and believe that they had no effect on him in order to vote for him, either that or you have no problem with communism, marxism, black liberation theology and the other isms and other anti-American, anti- Capitalist, anti- Free Market thought that that this guy is steeped in.... or.....you were duped?
not a single cut and paste.... BTW

Ahhh, but Johnny with the exception of Iraq, all of those were just things he SAID. At lease with Iraq, he voted against it. Everything else is speculation based on Obama's promises.

True. But also not a single word answered my question. Good job trying to spin out of giving an answer. You'd be a good politician.
