Has anyone seen it? If not, I suggest you watch it. I couldn't believe that I was seeing with my own 2 eyes!!! Thousands and upon thousands of dolphins being brutally slaughtered in Japan. Made me sick to my stomach and couldn't this is stuff is happening. Complete massacre without a blink of an eye. Sometimes we see and hear about these things and think that its all B.S. but this was caught on tape which I applaud the intelligent planning they did to do it.

They also talked about how mercury poisoning started in japan and how the government is playing "hush hush" and not telling the japanese public that they are poisoning themselves with all the dolphin meat they are consuming!!! I'm not a tree hugger or anything but anyone that remotely loves the outdoors and care about the environment would be appauled by this.. I hope anyone that is interested, watches it.

Its unreal. I have seen many different type of documentaries but I have never been able to say that any of them really moved me as much as this one. I just can't believe it. They round up thousands upon thousands of dolphins every year when they go through their traditional migration. They try to find the perfect "Flipper" bootlenose dolphin to sell to your "Seaworld" or aquarium. Once they find what they are looking for, the coral the rest of the dolphins and destroy them. I watched it and wasn't able to sleep the whole entire night due to complete anger.

I understand its years of tradition but they are trying to make the Japanese people aware of the mercury poisoning that is going on with all consumption of the dolphin meat. Once people start to realize this, they hope that the public will stop buying the meat, which in turn will not give these scum bags any reason to kill these animals. It's just awful. I just wanted to share my thoughts on it b/c we all fish and hopefully have an awareness with nature.

The best part of all of this is, is that the Japanese government when on to tell the world that they do this as a form of "pest control". The whole idea was that the dolphins are killing off too much prey, which means money to these scum bags Are you kidding me? What is happening to this world?? When does anyone consider a dolphin a pest? Hey quick I wasn't aware that this was also going on in Denmark... So much for the Danes being the "happiest people on earth". Maybe when the oceans are completely depleted of every species known to man, maybe then the world will put their smart brains together to "conserve". pathetic!

we need a seal roundup on the cape! ship them japenese fisherfolk over here, round em up, whackem n stackem, and ship em all back to the great island of japan. mercury be dammed, just a commie plot to keep us from eatin "gamefish" and other wild "taxfree" food meanwhile they're poisoning us with pesticides, hormones and antibiotics from the agribusiness industry.

the dolphins they harvest arn't endangered, theyre swimmin meat. same goes for the whales they harvest. finback and minke populations in the southern ocean are doin fine. there is nothing wrong with a limited, sustainable harvest for food.

don't like it? boycott japan and their products.

I made it through 2 minutes. I didn't even realize Dolphin and Whale was edible.. I can't believe that so many people were standing around watching.
To think we here in America try so hard to save species that only get slaughtered elsewhere.
Even if they aren't endangered that is just gross.

ever been to a slaughterhouse? i grew up near 1. the trains brought in the animals and in a few minutes the pipe that ran into the river would start runnin red. great catfishin! they'd come in to eat bits n pieces. they still make commercial blood baits for cats. not as good as the real thing, though.
