Bruins/Penguins tonight
I am heading to the game tonight and looking forward to the atmosphere and the outcome in this "revenge" game. I know it will probably turn out to be less-than what it could/should be but I am hoping for a bloodbath, a "Bru-ha-ha", a "donnybrook" or some element of old-time hockey. The BIG BAD BRUINS of 1970 will be in attendance as well as Colin Cambell so this is setting up to be quitre interesting. <----- Matt Cooke

Someone should do to Cooke exactly what he did to Savard. The refs won't be able to call a penalty and whoever does it can't be fined or suspended since Campbell called it a legal hit. It would look really bad if they called a penalty with Campbell there in attendance. The B's need to go out and take care of Cooke, then try to get the 2 points.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

Be realistic...
these are the Causeway Cubs after all.
No balls, no guts and no heart. The Big Bad Bruins of the 70s had more of each on their scoring lines than this B's roster has collectively.
Look for an early Cooke - Stewart skirmish followed by the Cubs getting taking it in the shorts score-wise.

Apparently three bruins came down with the flu and will be game time decisions.
For the Bruins, Blake Wheeler, Dennis Wideman, and Johnny Boychuk were all home sick with flu Thursday morning and are game-time decisions. There could very well be some call-ups from the AHL's Providence Bruins. I wonder who will be called up.
I know the B's need points but saving a little face will go further in my opinion.

Rask gives up goal # 3.
Spins around to the net and grabs his water bottle for a drink. (just like every goalie does after giving up a goal)
I could never understand that !
What the hell did he do to deserve a drink of water ? He just gave up (another) goal !

Except it was Thornton.
The Causeway Cubs are the laughing stock of the hockey world.

I'm glad i didn't waste my time watching this. The sad thing is the place is banged out and they play like total lame gutless wimps. I don't get it, I really don't get it. Where do we start? What's the fix? I like the coach but man how can a team with so much to play for at this time of the year play like that. They should be ashamed.

I live for hockey and this time of year around the playoffs and to sit through that game was one of the hardest things to do in a while.

After the initial fight and every second after the first period it was a sad and pathetic display by the home team. Fans were boing the effort and giving the mock cheer when they finally managed to dribble a shot on net 10 minutes into the 3rd. Disheartening to say the least.
If they lose Sunday against the Rangers they are done.

Going next weekend
Making a sign to show them how NE feels about them...
Front- Big red heart with a circle around it and a line throught it.
Back - A picture of a baseball, a basket ball and a football, all inside the red cirlce with the line through it.
Disgusting what they have become after last season's thrilling ride.
