Success
Changed head gasket, compression in bad cylinder went from 20 pounds to 110lbs, and the good one went from 100lbs to 120lbs. Gonna change the other gasket tomorrow, and then new plugs. But she started right up, and continuously idled for 20 minutes without throttle before I shut her down, when before she would stall after 5 minutes. I am very happy......
Big thanks to Freebie, and everyone else who offered advice, suggestions and contacts.

It's a good thing when you can fix it yourself.

Glad that you got it fixed and that it was not a blown cylinder.

All cylinders now 110 or better. Decarbed the engine again, lettin it sit for a couple of days to work it's magic.
