Any advice would be appreciated.

My 12 year old son and I are going to do some bonding this week. Heading to Truro/Ptown area with a 2 man kayak. We are determined to finally catch a striper. Any advice? Have the equipt for the beach as well.. not looking for anyones honey hole just trying to get it figured out... thanks...
