Fishing Gloucester
Well me and my two friends got a late start this morning(7AM) as other friends of mine had already loaded up with big macs and began fishing and one of my friends in another boat had already boarded a 47" and a 42" striper and they had seven fish in three hours of fishing and we were just getting our macs.
Apparently we caught the end of the bite and managed to board two fish a 38" and a 36 inch fish no blues. The big fella holding the 36" fish is making it look smaller.

all we could muster up were 4 dogs and a dink.. I suspect around the same spot...
Tried tube and worm deep for a while then got into some macs.. I think it was too late though because the dogs had already moved in.
holy crap was it hot by 11am.
marks on the finder all day...got to get rid of that fish repellent!

Nice fish
once again Fly. Was on the tuna kick this weekend, more or less whale watching w/guests. Macs were thick off the Londoner, Tuna were 7-10 off Thathcers, but no takers. Dreaded coming back inside as you could feel the heat as soon as we got inside the break water.

Heat was terrible yesterday Had a fella that wanted to go fishing with a 13, 11 and 6 year old. Told him that I would be happy to take em but not in this heat and that they would be in the sun the whole time and that their attention span would decrease rapidly. He agreed, thanked me, and said that he will get intouch with a couple of adults and call me in a week or two.
There are a lot of tuna not far out and macs too. I hope the macs will still be here on the 13th. I have been thinking of putting a tuna rod on the boat, just thinking at this time.
