boating out to stellwagon this weekend

some in-laws from PA want to go on a whale watch tour this saturday. new england aquarium has one that goes out to stellwagon. i think the forecast said N wind around 15-20 kt seas 4 or 5 feet. would you go or stay on land?

Depends if they get seasick. I've been on a whalewatch boat in 10 ft seas that turned into a puke bucket.

I'd say 10 people on the entire boat were NOT sick.

Keep in mind the whale watch boats are going to the east side of the bank which will be worse.

Sounds like my 7th grade field trip.

Most of the class and the teachers as well were feeling the wrath of the suddenly angry seas. It was surreal, and mildly hilarious.

they said they do well on boats. maybe some preventative dramamine just in case.

I'd be cautious. Where the whales are is going to be uncomfortable at best. Sunday would be the preferred day if they are willing to wait.
