AAA membership

Learned something today. AAA does not cover commercial vehicles..... $90.00 tow back to the used car guy that I had find my work box truck. He's going to get to the problem tomorrow, we hope. Electrical system is screwed up and the engine stopped at a nice narrow intersection here in town. But never knew AAA wouldn't cover commercial tows. Driver also said that AAA policy says they can refuse to change a tire if it has 6 or more lugnuts.

AAA is the worst tow service company i have ever used and i haven't
used their services in like 15 years because of how slow their response time was.

every month they send me their crap
and i filed it where it belongs

What the hell am I paying them for? 8 lugs here. I bet they won't tow my truck with the camper on it either.

Arrow

well go down to several AAA's and grab a bunch of MAPS

then "ask" at your repair place of choice
who will tow my camper truck

and then write THAT number
on the back of your triple A card

for that special day of fun with trucks.

when your AAA renewal arrives in the mail
file it where it belongs.

Good advice. I already know that they won't come out on the beach to unlock your vehicle when they keys are inside even if you have another vehicle to give them a ride. Even with a bribe.
What the hell is wrong with people these days?
You can only piss me off so much.

Never had a problem with AA A Plus. My pick- up has commercial plates, 6 lugs, have had towed a couple of times in several years. Also sold my daughters car and had it towed 30 miles away to the buyers yard and had no problems with AAA.

Thumbs up

I've had a membership since 1981, they,ve never let me down, This includes a breakdown tow and repair in Maryland on a Sunday. I had my two small kids and the Mrs. with me on Vacation. In gratitude I'll never bad mouth AAA. They saved my bacon. Another Sunday night I broke down atop The Sagamore Bridge...with the wife and my preteen son. The driver left a party, towed us to a shop and took us to a motel in Sandwich. He repaired the truck Monday morning and picked us up at the motel.

Never had a problem with them towing my truck or getting the keys out, and my truck does have commercial plates.
