Saltwater permit covers which states?

When I get my Massachusetts saltwater permit what other states will I be able to fish?

I always wanted to fish R.I. but couldn't justify the expense as compared to fishing waters I'm familiar with.

This is great! With all the Mass guys fishing down in RI next year, I'll have the Cape and the Ditch all to myself.

Conn. even better! I have a buddy that told me he knows a spot were he has supposedly caught lots of fish over 50 inches from shore, I need to know if he is BS'ing me.

I know that spot in CT and didnt fish it this year because i was too cheap to buy a license.

Everything is better on the rocks.
