Stradic Repair Shop

I am looking for a shop near Dracut, MA to have some Stradics overhauled before the season starts. Any suggestions?

Send them back to shimano America in California .
It is very rare for them to charge a person for parts and most of the time you will get a new reel.

mikecc,

I would do that if something was broken but I just need the reels oiled up and tuned up, you know maybe replace a spent drag washer, bearing, etc . That is why I was looking for a local tackle repair shop.

Post I do my own

Not to brag but I like to clean and tune my own Reel
I do all my stradics just by following the plans
I take my time use the right tools and get parts if i need them
But alot of your preseason maitnence comes evrytime after you go fishing wash her down oil her up

Use the Following
Amsoil AMP
WD-40
Reel Magic
3 in one
Marvel oil
and a dab of lemon juice

keeps that stradic smooth

Ken - welcome to the snowy northeast! Buckos is the only official authorized repair shop around. That said, right now they are probably 6 weeks to get reels done. You could ship them right to Shimano, pay the same, and have them done in less time (and they do great work).... Thanks for reminding me to send my Calcutta out!
